Introduction

Welcome! Connecting with a counselor for the first time can feel like an incredible relief, but it can also feel anxiety-provoking if you don't know what to expect. Whether you're new to therapy or are returning, it can be helpful to know upfront how the process works as every counselor's treatment approach varies.

With that being said, know each session moves at your own pace and I will do everything in my power to meet you where you’re at. The time you schedule for yourself is important and we will use that time for whatever you may need on that day.

As your counselor, I strive to establish a trusting, non-judgmental, and therapeutic relationship with you. I’m here to empower you as an individual, support you in managing symptoms, and help you move forward in your life.

If you, or someone you care about, are struggling, please reach out and start the healing process.

Background

I am originally from northeast Ohio and have lived in the Columbus, Ohio area since 2013. In 2010, I earned my undergraduate degree from Ohio University before entering graduate school where I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University, located in Rock Hill, SC.

Throughout my career, I have been lucky enough to work with numerous agencies, hospitals, and practices. I have experience treating a wide range of symptoms but my areas of specialty include learning how to cope mentally and physically with anxiety, implementing ways to manage and relieve feelings of depression, and treating adult survivors of childhood trauma.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends, being outdoors (3 out of the 4 seasons), golfing, and reading up on the latest and greatest mental health research.
